About Christina:
Christina's music career started at 21 with her first band 'This Wicked Tongue'. Since then she has toured the UK and Europe extensively. Her current band 'Soeur' is regularly played on BBC Radio 1 and they gig with acts such as Demob Happy, Yonaka and Idles.
She has an eclectic music taste and has kept a busy schedule, playing weddings, functions and parties for nearly ten years. She is a Laney endorsed artist and her solo music has been championed by BBC introducing, 6 Music and Amazing Radio.
On the rare occasions she isn't playing, recording or writing music, Christina is also currently studying for her maths degree with the Open University.
Jack
Jack is a classically trained musician and studied Music at Bristol University. A violinist in his youth, he started singing opera aged 20 and then moved to Drum Kit, joining a signed band after graduating.
Jack has also toured the UK and Europe extensively, playing countless festivals including Glastonbury. As well as playing currently in several bands, Jack also conducts one of the Bristol Show Choirs, and is a qualified coach; working with different singers as a Vocal Coach.
We are a couple and have been together for nearly eight years, we're getting married ourselves in September 2022. We don't make it obvious that we're together when we turn up to play, but we feel like our relationship, and the fact that we genuinely love playing music together marks us out from other duos who just have a professional relationship with one another. To us it makes sense to have a couple who are in love themselves playing music at a celebration of love!
From a professional point of view it also benefits our clients - we travel together and the bookings and communication process is streamlined as we are together most of the time!
